A couple who know, love, understand and respect each other - that is the basis and ideal condition for a long lasting marriage.

Marriage is a wonderful state of happy INTER-DEPENDENCE, where two individuals from different families unite on a journey of life, TOGATHER! Since, the key words here are Inter-dependence (and not independence) and Togather, there has to be TRUST as both lives and happiness in that life depend on each other. The Trust will only come from Respect and Love for each other and hence irrespective of the Race, Religion, Age, Ed. Qualifications, and Earnings if there is Trust in each other based on Respect and Love for each other the marriage is bound to do well and their lives will be happy. It is this understanding that both the boy and the girl should carry into their marriages!

Marriage , in my opinion , is plethora of compromises! Real understanding starts only after marriage and the couple start living together and try to adjust to the minor differences in their habits..and slowly \'love\' blossoms\'...but before marriage the basic details like family back ground, horoscopes matching ..if one believes in it,cultural religious differences if any can be sorted out and understood so that these may not become issues mater!
