Just following Prime Minister's decision. He has not done anything remarkable,
although he was capable. He has kept back his instincts in godown without using.

He was a patriot who had praised Vajpeyee's Nuclear explosions in 1998 despite Congress party's shameless opposition.He explained how while he was DefenseMinister, then prime minister Narsinha Rao had buckled under U. S. pressure and abandoned the Nuclear Explosion plan.

After the death of rajiv gandhi, some anti-nationalist started harrassing n beating of minorities(south indians, sikh) in delhi.
he gave a srong warning to all those people after which all was normal.

Ramaswamy Venkataraman popularly known as 'RV' was the 8th President of the Republic of India, serving from 1987 to 1992. Before his election as President, he served nearly 4 years as the 7th Vice-President. A member of the Indian National Congress party, he held various ministerial positions in the course of his political career. Born Dec 4, 1910 in Rajamedam in Tamil Nadus Thanjavur district, Venkataraman obtained a law degree from Chennais Law College. He married Janaki in 1938 and they had three daughters. He took part in the Quit India movement of 1942 and was jailed for two years. While practicing Law, Venkataraman was drawn into the movement for India's freedom from Britain's colonial subjugation. His active participation in the Indian National Congress's celebrated resistance to the British Government, the Quit India Movement of 1942, resulted in his detention for two years under the Defence of India Rules.
