ITS A PART OF RESPIRATION PROCESS! after respiration energy is released ... in human biengs aerobic respiration takes place and the amount of energy released is about 36 ATP(adenosine triphosphate)
and in our muscles, when we do heavy exercise, anaerobic respiration takes place..and the amount of energy released is about 2 ATP!
