Gurjara Kingdom also known as Narayana Rashtra meaning 'Kingdom of God Narayana', Gopala/Gopa Rashtra meaning 'Protecters of cows' as it was Kshatriya Dharma to protect the cows of Brahmin , Gopas, Go Rashtra was kingdom ruled by Lord Krishna in the central and western India.
[1] In the epic Mahabharata, they were mentioned as Narayani Sena i.e. Army of God Narayana who is Krishna himself ,'Gopa Rashtras' and as 'Gopas'.They were the personal army of god Krishna & were notorious for their power, fierceness & wrath in battle being the most powerful warriors of Kurukshetra war. They have participated in the Kurukshetra War, siding with Duryodhana, as he was given the choice of taking either Krishna or his invincible army, though they had close kinship with Vasudeva Krishna.
