The culprits should be hanged till dead. Because dowry deaths are the result of greed and much planning which goes into perpetrating this heinous act. It is a cold blooded murder of the third degree and should be considered as a 'rarest of rare' crime.

If the death occurs due to sucide committed out of hersment for dowry,then the punishment may be less giving the bnifit of doubt to the perpetrators.
