Gandhi ji adopted many means as a freedom struggle. a few listed ones are--
-he started alone along with his wife but on the way people started joining him
-initially he started with legalities i.e. legal struggle.
-next he started making people aware about the freedom struggle by addressing them in groups.
-he shed of all his belongings even his cloths to be at par with people.
-he started living in an asharam so as to stay approachable to people in general.
-he undertook various yatras(jurneys) and travelled on foot so as to be in touch and to convey his message to the people.
-he invented satyagrah and undertook fasts.
-his was a clear philosphy of ahinmsa and non retaliation.
-he prayed daily and singing of bhajans etc was part of his way of the freedom struggle.
may be many more which i couldnt list
