In beed/sangli district of maharahstra farmers started growing afu (narcotics) for getting good income. govt. has lodged case agaisnt these people. i dont think anything wrong in cultivating afu/ganja. are these politicians, govt. bureacrats, bank officers, company officers, traders, businessman, builders, havaldar, tice are earning money in crores in fair manner? how they become croreparti. what about tobacco and beer manucaturing compnay? what action is there for them? why only farmers are punished who are really hard worker and feeding the people. i am son of farmer so asking this question

You may be correct in some respect but there is a law of land one have to obey that law.
most politicians and burocrats are corrut for dealing with them law is ther.
other wise countrey will become a lawless land and situation will become caotic.
do you know apu is how dangerous.......if you regularley consume apu or ganga if aney snake bite then also you will not die.
and this ganja totaley demolishes the brain of an individual.

Just because they are bad u should also not follow their path, but u are right that such people should be exposed and put behind bars

It IS ILLEGAL to harvest these crops, madhu ji, i think you are not aware of the rules, these farmers can even be put behind bars
