Raavan hero hai.....u know y. Becoz -
1. What do u expect from a brother to do when sister ( Surpanakha) is sent to his court with her nose cut. just becoz she was enchanted by the looks of rama(who told her that he is married already) and then lakshmana. After getting a feeling of insult she did attack sita, but whose mistake was it in first place?
2. Even after keeping sita in his capture for years. He did not even touch her. This has to be heroic considering what those brothers did to his sister.
3. Rama was selfish as hell. He sheepishly and in hiding killed bali (vali) for sugreev on condition that he will help him find sita once he is crowned. This has to be termed un-heroic, since it is not a what an ideal person would do (He was termed a maryada purshotam). And in case if you say sugreev deceived rama into believing that he was the actual king......then why is that rama knew before hand that the golden deer he was following for fulfilling sita's wishes were actually demons ...more
