My wife drives a brand new Suzuki-Maruti SX4 (1.9 litre Turbo Diesel) capable of speeds well over 180km/h. (And I had to try that out on a German motorway. Really fast, I must say).
BUT I prefer my 12 year old Suzuki Samurai ( = Maruti Gipsy), which is much SLOWER (sometimes irritating slow) but undestructible. I can tow my fully loaded 4 wheel trailer on sandy beaches without any major problems and at reasonable speed considering the terrain. (When I tried that with my Landrover Freelander I broke my gearbox. Twice.). My only regret is the soft top: It makes a terrible noise, especially when the wind is strong and car speed is over 60km/h. Next time I'll buy a hardtop. And as we can't find them new in Belgium any more, I'll have to import it from India. This is how I got on this internet site...
