In ramayana it is written ,king dashrath see white hair on head and spoke it is a sign that i have become old and i should go to forest and give kingdom to rama/premature greying is sign of ill health/earlier people used to wear turban ,caps,hats etc while going in sun and ladies put saree on head so head remained well protected but nowadays these custom is changed and so white hair as also wearing of spects etc.have increased/our great granfather had done everything wisely
