Q.
Pastor Terry Jones of Florida,USA says 'Islam is of the Devil' and plans to burn the Holy Quran to protest against the 9/11 attacks.I believe it is a highly intolerant and disgraceful remark from a religious man hailing from a country which prides in treating all religions equally.Your comments please.

Hi Shamida
Actually it is not that much about Hate of Islam but a clear frustration and fear that is making them do so . All their efforts to link Islam with terror and to malign it have come to nought alhamdulilah .
Also they like to provoke muslim reaction by such acts and also like acts of drawing carttoons but muslims have to be careful not to be provoked and spread the message of peace according to the dvine revelations given by God
They also need to be ahead in calling for dialogue and understanding between different faiths to clear the mistrusts and misunderstanding
All these times requires muslims to be patient and tolerant while spreading the real message of Islam .
Also Quran is recitation and is memorised to millions of hearts word for word . What they intend to burn is the written texts . Even if all copies of quran is destroyed but alhamdulilah the message is memorised in the hearts and minds

I fully agree that it is a highly intolerant and disgraceful remark from a religious man hailing from a country which prides in treating all religions equally. But are these rules and coutsies made only for countries like USA, India etc and not for Pakistan or other Muslim countries? If Pakistani terrorists destroy temples and kill a number of Hindus in Kashmir every day, then tyhere is no hue & cry from Muslims but just a statement from Pastor Terey Jones has eveoked such a reaction.!
