The responses should be measured and properly deliberated. How much destruction are you ready for in the event of a full blown war? And do you want China and Bangladesh also to start fishing in troubled waters? These decisions are not to be taken under emotional pressure.

I too feel the same comrada, but I need you to specify what EXACTLY you want India to do? India can sponsor a region / world wide embargo on Pak and pursue it aggressively. But alas- it will get shot down by the US because US is MDP'd to Pak. India can declare war on Pak. Bad idea- Pak has nukes (and India too)...even if we launch our first strike on Pak, the radiation will kill us all in India. Bombing terrorist camps inside Pak soil would be a DoW. Even if India disables all of Pak's nukes, the US will still activate its MDP- US has MDP w/ Pak and only PIAT grade treaty w/ Ind.... The best we can do is to launch black operations inside enemy soil, send in special forces men, expert Jawans- disguise them as civilians, send them to PoK and have them take out 1 terrorist at a time. But then, human rights ppl won't be happy because if those troops get caught, we have to deny any association w/ them as a nation.

As matter of fact India was not accepting this formula. All the parties who are affected by terrorism have to come together and fight and find long term solution. India should not as big brother but come to conclusion tosolve the on going issues. The million dollar question is that I our politicians are serious to solve the Issue. Or just they want keep issue alive till the elections. After the election people will for get automatically.

No doubt Pakistan is the main cause for terrorism in India But it would be unwise to go for a direct confrontation with them to settle this. We can only look for a diplomatic solution for this by taking the international community into confidence.

Generalk public opinion is to take on Pakistan and take the war to the doors of Islamabad. As we all know the military is calling the shots in Pakistan and not the civilian Govt.

Decision of war is not taken in a day. Unless we are prepared to pull on war for at least a month, it will be futile. Further, many cities will be bombed. We have find out whether our anti missile system is effective. When we are satisfied with the plan, we can hit them really hard.
