I have purchased an house from Puranik Builders in Jodhbhunder road Thane and in the month of April 2012 I got the Occupancy Certificate, The project was delayed by a year. Now the builder is asking for Rs.38,000 more towards CEss Tax and Balcomy premium levied by TMC. They say this is a new rule of TMC and applicable for all builders giving possession of flats after Nov 2011. I checked with some other buidlers and they say there is not such tax. Please let me know if there is any such tax and how to proceed with the same.
