Management Courses like Business Administration (be it Bachelors or Masters) are widely chosen courses to break ground in the financial services & banking sector. Many colleges offer campus recruitment at the under graduate level. Though a Masters in any specialization(Management field) holds good value in corporate Industry, a 2 year work experience is looked upon favourably. Many MBA freshers are jobless merely because of lack of experience in the field. Though the degree has good prospects, work experience in a financial services company or sectors like Investment banking, Corporate Finance, Stock/Equity research will double up your chances to grab a lucrative offer up your sleeve. Marketing and Finance are popular electives. You can add upto the qualification by studying for a CFA(Chartered Financial Analyst). Apart from MBA, CA/ICWA/CS hold good value.
