Conservator tank is provided to maintain the oil level in the transformer. never fill the oil up to the neck. top up the oil 3/4 th of conservator tank.

**Classic plaCement interview qstn for electrical engineers in PSUs** conservator tank is an oil presservation system connected to the completely filled main tank.this servs the purpose of maintaining the desired level of oil in the main tank..if oil in main tank get reduced the required oil will be supplied by conservator
