Chilka Lake is located to the South West of Puri in Orissa. The shallow lake is about 70 kms long and average 15 km wide. The Lake is dotted with a host of islands. Kalijai island, Breakfast island, Nalabana , Honeymoon island, Parikud island, Birds island, etc. are some of the interesting spots around the lake.

Chilka Lake is located in Orissa, south of the mouth of the Mantei River. It is the largest coastal lake in India and has rich natural flora and fauna, thus attracting tourists.
