The ride controls switch assists the rider to identify the optimum throttle opening in order to get the top mileage. The ride control switch senses the speed of the vehicle and responsively activates and deactivates the ride control by connecting and disconnecting an accumulator to the lift cylinder hydraulic circuit giving a fine average at varying speed.
