Saint Yagyavalakya says that Lord Brahma has stated some rules to live a sanyasis life. These rules are not for everyone. A person who wants to live like a sanyasi should consume fire. He should avoid Satva, Rajas and Tamas. Such a person should then worship Fire by saying that Fire is the one that provides life ad energy within a human being. The person should ask for the same from fire. He should ask for good health and knowledge. Such a person attains this difficult path.
A person with the love for his children or wife can never be a sanyasi. A sanyasi should also deny emotions like greed, lust, love, attachment, anger etc. These rules have been stated by Lord Brahma after which a person attains the life of a sanyasi. These rules have also been explained in some of the vedas. King Janak was satisfied by the answers that he got and was content.
