Tamilnadu is one of the most forward states in India eventhough it has not much resources and governments which are very corrupt since 1967. Then what is the reason for its improvement?

The reasons are many.
1) A very sound platform for the improvement laid by Mr K .Kamaraj as chief minister for 9 years and in that period every hydel project possible undertaken and finished. minor as well as major irrigation undertook and vast stride in education front is undertaken and many new roads are laid. The free education for all and noon meal scheme were started by him and that is responsible for the educational revolution in Tamilnadu. Tamilnadu has more quality education than anywhere in India thanks to his initiative.
2) Even though both ADMK and DMK rules are corrupt they have encouraged developments and took away a percentage as commission. Because of them a revolution in poultry ,milk are achieved.SHG of women is a grand success here. Medical facilities are available to all and a very strong health care, agriculture and fishery departments do well here. As a result against the national average of 3.5 tonnes of rice per hectare Tamilnad produces about 6 tonnes per hect ...more
