What is the relationship between love and friendship?

Friendship is when you feel like you like the person to be there to listen to you. Usually you feel you need them when you have a strong emotion and you want to ventilate, or you just don't want to feel lonely so you want some one for company. Love is when you want to do anything for them, and you feel like you could be around that person for the rest of your life. Then you start wanting to hang out with them and only them more then anyone. You know you are in love when you notice most of your time is spend thinking how you can make them feel better, or how you can make things "right" between the two of you.
