Yes other things being equal it has. But it cannot substitute your smartness, general knowledge, communication skill, and quick grasp of new ideas.

Almost all sectors, especially financial sector - are going hi tech and IT engineers have a major role to play. I think young and computer savvy persons are most wanted there. I am sure that will improve the service

Yes , I know lot of B.E /BTech ,get in to banks and there is lot of openings in the banks .
