Q.

Why don't you guys stop using Hindi here? While it's clearly written in the terms of use that "You should not use any language other than English?"

I agree with Mr Chacko. Most of the guys havent read the terms of use or the QnA Guidelines. In one question of min,e i asked how many have rad the guidelines, and i get answers like \"You read first\". This is not the forum to show patriotism. Also many South Indians d not know Hindi. Are they any less patriotic ?

With due respect to all my hindi speaking friends in the forum, I seize this opportunity to share the views of Mr Parthapratim Chakravorty The language of the forum is English because this is an international forum for exchange of views and many members are from abroad Such persons may not be able to understand what is being deliberated on the forum if the language is one other than Hindi How can Janis, a serious participant from the UK express her views,if someone posts a qn in Hindi? It is too much to say that only those who speak Hindi are patriotic Let this be not a platform for showing linguistic fanaticism

Most of the internet user know Hindi, & I think they feel proud in using their national tounge & there is no problem in using your own language. Its really very sad even after 62 years we want to remain slave by our mind. Why dont we try to use our language I think for me even Bangla is ok,

Hindi written in english alphabets is called Roman Hindi. So it does not remain Hindi as such. It is very much in English.
