I have never been to the UK. But I'll give you my top 10 cities of the UK.. Here goes:
1) London ( why not? It is the seat of government and houses the Queen plus the mother of Parliaments. 2) Manchester ( Very historical, the seat of the Industrial Revolution plus home of Manchester United football club)
3) Bristol ( Final resting place of Raja Rammohun Roy -social reformer)
4) Brighton ( beautiful sea-side resort)
5) Edinburgh ( a lovely Scottish city with castles and hills)
6) Cardiff ( The capital of Wales and home of the Celts)
7) Birmingham ( The heart of the midlands and close to the Lake District.)
8) Leicester ( Well it is home to many Indians and there is a Little India out there.)
9) Oxford ( Who can overlook the great University , the seat of learning and it has been there since medieval items.)
10) Liverpool ( The name conjures just two words- The Beatles and why not ? Liverpool and the Beatles have become almost synonyms. )
