Yes it is correct .though both are born in almost equal ratio but When it comes to immunity, men may not have been dealt an equal hand. The latest study by Dr. Maya Saleh, of the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre and McGill University, shows that women have a more powerful immune system than men. In fact, the production of estrogen by females could have a beneficial effect on the innate inflammatory response against bacterial pathogens. These surprising results were published today in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences
so from infant stage itself women survive more than men .more men die of alcohol ,smoking ,wars etc leaving more women behind .
the approx ratio is 102-103 females as compared to 100 males of marriagable age .
there are excess of women in most countries where gender bais is not there . in India millions of female areaborted during sex determination in foetus due to gender bias

NO, I think men are more, Atleast in India we have seen skewed sex ratio in favour of men.
