The refreshingly new concept of credit scores has been introduced in India by CIBIL(Credit Information Bureau) in association with Transunion. By virtue of this, any person who has been using credit like credit cards, personal loans, jhome loans for a minimum of 6 months will get a credfit score. The credit scores is however not shared with individuals, at least for the time being. RBI should come up with guidelines on that front soon.
