The word "Salam" is the most shortened version of Arabic word
"Aslamualikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu"; mostly this word is defined as
peace but in true sense this means lot more than peace with regard to greeting
or salutation; this is the preeminent salutation which conveys meaning what a
person should greet; actually it means, "Mercy, Blessing and Peace from Almighty";
The history of this word; in fact the same word "Salam" is found in the
Bible Moses, Dawood and Jesus Christ son of Mary peace be upon them all used
for their followers; Psalm John lot can be said
with regard to word "Salam" yet what is engraved should suffice anyway because
the meaning becomes clear and this is the word used by all prophets!
