Double Born: means DWEEJA ....... A BRAHMIN and the BIRD are known as the DWEEJA as they took birth twice ........ Brahmin: they took birth from the mother's womb for the firsta time and after the thread cermony( BRATOPANAYAN) they got the 2nd life/Birth ....... at the time of BRATOPANAYAN all 16 process are being to be followed as a token of birth process (right from the concive to birth) , that's is why Brahmin are generally known as DWEEJA ......... similarly the BIRDS : they took birth in shape of EGG and again they got the 2nd birth when they come out from the EGG .........
