What is the meaning of case sensitive, as in password is case sensitive?

It means, the software distinguishes between upper case (Capital letter) and the lower case

It means if you have password e.g. India in capital letter i.e. INDIA, if you put password in small letters i.e. india, it will not work.
The password should match the word, numbers if any and same as originally decided e.g. If you have decided your password as InDiA, It will not work in any way except as InDiA only.
