What is the meaning of 53 grade cement ? How much it is different than 43 grade ? Are there any other grades ?

Grade is the 28 days minimum strength when tested as per Indian Standards under standard conditions. If it is 53-grade cement then it has strength equivalent to 53MPa (530kg/cm2). Similarly 33 & 43 grades can be defined.
43 grade is most commonly used cement. Even 63 grade cement has been developed now.

Usually 53 grade is used for RCC or roof while 43 grade is used for walls
