There is no doubt that the pitch was not the normal one and one on which we can play normal cricket , but India had played in New Zealand where they used to have MOBILE PITCHES and with bond bowling at a great speed Indians had appealed but the MATCH REFEREE didnot feel anything wrong in calling off the matches. we have seen even recently how the ICC match referees deal when two players of different colours have problems the coloured ones are punished whereas the whites are let off, 4 indians were handed over ban for matches for the reason excessive appealing whereas if the white man appeals excessively, they say it is their right, when batsmen who are not out are given out just under the pressure due to excessive shouting, we cannot appeal, because if we appeal we are damaging the reputation of this GENTLEMAN'S game and if the white man shows dissent it is that he is frustrated with himself

SO STRANGE ARE THE WAYS OF THE ICC MATCH REFEREES AND I FULLY AGREE WITH CHETHAN CHAU ...more

Whatever happened happened , one can not cry over the split milk. Any way if a pitch is not proper, then the match should not have been played. it is unfair on the part of the people to stage the match in the first place and instead of investigating , the people concerned blaming each other is also somewhat intriguing and quite astonishing. Moreover, what ever Chetan Chauhan said is not also in good taste. Let hem do what ever they want. First of all one should see what is happening in our country, instead of doing this he utters such words which is improper. The people concerned, i.e. both the captains and the umpires have said so. but it is quite intriguing that 24 overs have also bowled . Match referee should stict to the rules and regulations. but he also failed to do so. Over and abvoe, it is good that the match is abandoned once for all. It is upto ICC what is to be done with the pitch and the sooner they take the decision it is good for every one. As world cup is go ...more

If a pitch a unplayable then match should not be taken to 24th over,it is surprising that match refree said that he cant force captain to play.it was unfortunate and sunil gavaskar said that he has played matches in worst pitches than this.the decision to call off match was unwanted and unfortunate

Its a shame and one should accept that fact, what we all saw was the bad pitch....It is dangerous to those two batsman who are in the middle facing few fastest bowlers of that country, Just imagin Bret Lee bowling to Sehwag and Sachin on Kotla and both hit by his ball and eventually their cricketing career is ended with that injury how we all will feel, Is it not stupid on Chetan's part to say something that will never be acceptable to the masses.
