I have seen this bad practice of telling that they are from South India or North INdia or so on, but really they didn't say that they are from South of India or North of India etc. It gives a picture to the Foreigners that it is something like North America and South America. Flouting of laws are concerned, why we restrict only to North or South, it is everywhere and North of Indians cannot take any credit for that.
