In which ritual those statues are used is unknown, but our ancients
knew about those statues. The very direction north-east is Esanyam
in Sanskrit. Remove the first letter E, the word becomes cognate with
Sainyam - the terracotta warrior statues. China is located in the
Esanyam direction of our country.

The Terracotta Army or Terracotta Warriors and Horses is a collection of 8,099 life-size Chinese terra cotta figures of warriors and horses located near the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor. The figures were discovered in 1974 near Xi'an, Shaanxi province, China. I dont know abou its classification as a wonder of the world, but it definitely is one. Completely awe inspiring, words can not do it justice.
