"Athi" is the tamil name for the fruit known as fig. It is also known as "athi pazham", "athi pandu". The fig fruit is used in a number of sweets and dishes in India. It is also very good for digestion.

The English name for Athi is "Elephant Ear Fig tree" Also called "Gaint Indian Fig"
The Botanical name is Ficus auriculata Lour.
