When you have validity period remaining but no money to use, you can top-up your mobile. Th top up recharge has no validity and the original validity remains.
Recharge gives you a clear validity depending on the recharge coupon you have bought and also gives you talk time.

Pre-paid customers whose talk value is exhausted before the expiry of the validity period of the last recharge can be top up(add up) their talk value by this recharge. These coupons have full talk time value of Rs.50, Rs.100, Rs.200 and Rs.500. They do not alter the recharge date or grace periods and the recharge date and grace periods are that of the last recharge.
