Dear Sheshadri thanks for nice question as well as nice answers below... love of mother is valueless and love of wife costs for money... mother is definately a God... and if money is spent wife will perform your puja like God... but you have to behave like a good husband.. if wife decides your life becomes heaven on earth.. if not you repents some suicides,, better think and act on it.

Remember your mother used to be a wife once. so obviously she also spent money her husband gave her. do u really think she made her husbands life hell when he didnt give her money?

In daily life, word love is used both of wife and mother in same tone. Feeling between boy and girl is not love. That can be called as sexual overtone. Initial period of feeling of wife to husband or husband to wife also can be called as sexual overtone. With long association between husband and wife, real love is likely to blossom between them. But the feeling mother has for her child is \"love\" in real sense. It is 100% pure love.
