Sales is the activities involved in selling a product mostly to the existing customer like invoicing, collection, stock maintenance, order processing, forecasting the sales, preparation of budget for sales etc. Marketing is exploring the new market for the product or enhancing the vaious application of the product to see the customer satisfaction. Selling a product involves explaining the qualities of the product to the costumer it means selling the product that you have you must have heard that a good sales man can sell refrigerator to an Eskimo no matter the product is needed or not but marketing is a area where they try to know need of consumer and they provide the product accordingly.
