I learned about the difference between problems versus difficulties. Problems have a solution. Difficulties are just those pain-causing things that we live with. Since difficulties themselves cant be fixed, the key to dealing with difficulties is to fix the way you feel about the difficulty. You can also redirect your energy to reducing the impacts the difficulty may have raised.

A problem is an obstacle, impediment, difficulty or challenge, or any situation that invites resolution; the resolution of which is recognized as a solution or contribution toward a known purpose or goal. A problem implies a desired outcome coupled with an apparent deficiency, doubt or inconsistency that prevents the outcome from taking place.

Problem requires total solution. Whereas dificulty can be overcome just by a push or using common sense.

Problems have a solution most of the time....
difficulties cannot be fixed (though of course there is always an exception here and there)
