One's Experience backed by its expertise of different nature wrt any issue /matter inspires, motivates and generate enthusiasm to experiment further and irrespective of a positive or negative result of such experiment , the process of such experimentation , becomes another experience of the person....Therefore , What I think is that Experience is a continuous process and it gets enriched wid each n every experiment in one's life.....Its the sum total of all the experiments you have gone thru your life at a particular point of time....Thanks

When we are not so sure about the result , we call it an experiment . And when we are sure about the result, we call it an experience.

The knowledge accumulated in an individual by his/her past experiments/by reading/by living/ by learning others experience/by ones own mistakes, etc.,is one own experience.Whereas, the experiment is that which an individual by the help past experience/ by observation of some phenomenon/by reasoning formulate some hypotheses and try to test them by setting experiment with definite variables and then go on recording the results of the experiment by variating the variables(inputs) and then try to analyse the resultant data in relation to the preconceived hypotheses(assumptions). The result of such experimentation will help the person to affirm what he/she presumed is right or wrong i.e after testing the hypotheses.Whether the result is positive or negative the person who conducted experiment will gain experience of a phenomenon which was set to for observation. Thus both experience and experiment ultimately enriches ones knowledge base.

In experience we have past results only while in experiments we are to wait for future results to come. Thus results known are the fruits of experience and results unknown are the suspense of experiment.
