The difference between a Windows phone and an Android phone is that a Windows phone uses the Windows Operating System and an Android phone uses the Android Operating System. In my opinion, an Android phone is better because it has advanced features and is also popular among many mobile users.

Both Android and Windows Phone 8 offer broadly similar functionality.
As the most popular mobile OS on the planet, Android offers an unprecedented range of handsets at a variety of price points. There's an Android to suit every wallet. Window based phone run on operating system provided by Microsoft with limited but useful functionalities.
