I am shocked and distressed to read these news. It is pitiful condition of our CRPF men who were just claughtered. The entire blame should go to those who sent them there without proper intelligence and planning. The commanders should plan the attacks on the maoists properly and not sacrifice our young men like lambs. It is the saddest day in the history of the CRPF and should never happen again.

Although I am saddened over this, I am at least looking it in perspective of a combatant to combatant...unlike the Lakshar E Taiba, at least these guys (Maoists) are attacking armed opponents who can fight back- instead of attacking civilians like those Lakshar cowards.

75 is a huge number and is tragic, but every day in India, I see the number of RELIGIOUS RIOTS and ETHNIC RIOTS started by LEGAL POLITICAL GROUPS which have killed ten times that figure, and that too unarmed.

I am saddened over what is going to happen to the CRPF families but then the CRPF isin't exactly an honorable force in the manner in which it deals w/ civilians in the Tribal Belts.

The Tribal belts are ruled by sheer naked terror. THis is ASIA TIMES, a respected source:

"The CMAS activists have retreated deep into the forests, where they are said to be regrouping. "The hunt for CMAS activists and the intimidation of tribals by the police has ...more
