Country is a landmass of river, mountain, valleys, plains, metros, semi-urbans, villages, forests, and some creature crawling within that....fighting for a livelyhood......
Nation is a population of ppl comprising of different caste color creed and clan.....having unity in diversity....

Both are synonyms but nation was a word and concept used in europe ,when they were forming nation and antion state system during renaissaince phase and revolutionary phase.
