This is because of the political patronage given to the caste system just to divide people for vote bank other wise is it not paradoxical that political parties vouching to be progressive still advocate to keep the system of reservation , the worst type of discrimination conceivable in a free democratic country and still worse that people prefer to be called backwards ?

Caste not to be considered while casting the vote, but in India, it has become a sentiment in all.

Because in India... People are... Kurmi, Yadava, Lingait, Vokkaliga, Nair, Nayyar, Brahimn, Kshatriya, Vaisya, SC, ST, Muslim, Christian, Jain, North Indian, Maratha, Gujrathi, Tamil, Kannadiga, Bengali and a lot of things first... And after all the divisions are over... Where is the time for an Indian?
If Caste means numbers, then numbers means votes, and Votes means Power and Power means everything! So unfortunately... India will never have Indians!
