When was the concept of playing a test match with four fast bowlers (without any spinner) first put into practice?

I may be wrong, but when India chased down 400 agains the West Indies in the 1976 sereies. Captain of Windies Clive Lloyd decided that he need a 4 pronged pace attack, and in the next match at Kingston, he had 4 pace bowlers.

The pitch is good for pacers in the first few overs,, so they should be used,, later when the cresase is not good,, spinners have better chance :P
