Renowned as Asias biggest railway junction, Bathinda Junction Railway Station
is a railhead under the Northern Railways.
(Bhatinda is also spelt Bathinda.)It has six broad gauge lines, linking the city to New Delhi (via Jakhal), Sri Ganganagar, Ambala, Rewari (via Hisar), Ferozepur and Hanumangarh. A bypass line also passes through the station. It is well connected to the rest of the country by express and passenger trains. Computerized reservation facility is provided.
