The Ghanaraga Pancharatna kritis of Saint Tyagaraja are the most famous among his Pancharatnakritis known as Ghanaraga pancharatna. These compositions set in traditional ghana ragas of Natta, Gaula, Arabhi, Varali and Sriragam, reveal the majestic beauty of the compositions of Tyagaraja. Though simple enough to learn, these compositions portray the scholarship of the composer through the display of literary beauties, language excellence and musical heritage of the great saint composer Tyagaraja.
Now these five Pancharatna kritis have been rendered for learners of karnatic music in five audio cds by Dr.S.Bhagyalekshmy.
Each composition contains the rendering of the text, followed by the singing of the text. To make the learning of these compositions easier,
the rendition has been repeated several times. The complete composition has been sung at the end of each pancharatna so that the learner is
