There several advantages of Tubeless tires and few disadvantages. The internal construction and materials used for manufacturing the tubeless tires are better than those used for tube type tires. One need not worry about the fitment of the tube because in a tubeless tire the inner layer of the tire is the tube itself. The inner layer of tubeless tire helps in reducing the permeation of the air because the inner layers are made of compounds like halo-butyl/chlorobutyl which also resist the heat generated at the high speeds. The tube type tires add to the weight thus affecting the ride and handling plus overall performance of the car. Tubeless tires enhance the overall ride, comfort boosting the overall performance of the vehicle. Tire burst at high speeds can cause a sudden loss of traction which is enough for a car to have a roll over, but in tubeless tires there are no tires bursting. Even a sharp object penetrates into a tubeless tire, the gel inside the tubeless tires seals off by t ...more

Further Advantage is greater tolerance to slippage on the rim

Further Limitations:
1. Need for better rim finish & condition
2. Less tolerant to side loading
3. Need for sealing rings if the rim is of more than 1 part
