If the TFM is above 75% only then that soap can be called a beauty soap. If the TFM lowers then it would not give you the softness that is expected out of a soap alongwith the other qualities of a beauty soap.

It is the presence of Total Fatty Matter in Soaps.More The TFM % more better the soap and give more softness to the body.The soap which contain more TFM also have good durabilty i.e. it doesn't melt with water early.The soap which melts early with water has low percent of Tfm in it.
