Statistics don't show that they may keep the same rate of dividend or may be Rs. 10 (that is 100%) as already answered. Last year, they gave Rs. 9 per share on a equity of 25.42 crore shares from a consolidated profit of Rs. 605 crores. So far they have notched up Rs. 475 crores and like last year, if they are going to zoom on the Nos. based on last Qr results, they could do a repeat. But they may not do also if they are going to set aside a major chunk of cash to cater for the payment of Cheshire Salt Holdings Ltd (CSHL) acquired.
