I have been answering many questions on this topic since yesterday.
Though ND Tewari has resigned but I still feel some questions remain unanswered.
(1) The video clip has not shown the face of the man and also has not given any concrete proof that it was NDTewari (2) Is it really inside Raj Bhawan? How did the cameramen get inside Raj Bhawan crossing all security? (3) If at all ND Tewari had to do all this , he would have chosena far off lonely place away from Raj Bhawan, where his privacy would have been maintained, instead of Raj Bhawan.(4)At the ripe old age of 87 itseems highly improbable that any man including ND Tewari would venture into such activities.
It seems that he is being framed by his political rivals and until his guilt is proved , we may not blame him.

In politics, there is a simple rule - Dont get caught and if you get caught in whatever it may be, there is very little chance that anyone would come to your defence for the folly is yours alone for not taking necessary measures to cover your tracks, more so when they are high profile personalities.

Age is no bar at all once they have set their mind to do anything. Maharaja of Patiala went blind but that didn't stop him from carrying on inspite of his physician's advice. It all boils down to the individual alone and how much he has in him to carry on till the natural order of balance tells the person - it is enough now.

Whatever has been deduced so far has been from the video clip and the newspaper reports of whatever transpired there. The owners of the TV channel are ready to face any probe and prove that, what they have telecast is authentic. Till such time, we get to know the full details, which could even be more damming, we have to assume that, there is more to it than all ...more

From Mahabharat I have concluded that bad people get punished only in the climax after leading a life full of pleasures. Same appears to be true in case of NDT also. At 85 he is caught atlast.

Well Omega has aptly written - Getting caught is the crime (doing is not as an acceptable part of the society we all live in). NDT is no different. The political leaders don't fall from sky and exhibit the traits of society. It's just a reflection of the society that believes in power-wielding and for whom attainment of power means reaching beyond the realms of laws and that is the genesis of "Tu Jaanta nahin main kaun hoon (You don't know who I am) attitude. This is prevalent in this forum also, leave aside big leaders and others.

N.D. Tiwari has simply been caught and who knows that is Congress only, which has staged the whole thing? After all, it's politics. In order to show its party to set the examples by disciplinary actions, it would take some disciplinary actions against a "marginalized" leader, who anyway does not have any political career left at the age of 87 years serving as Governer of a province, which basically goes to people marginalized on active political career to ...more

I think that the Paap Ka Gharaa of NDT had got filled and has spilled in his ripe old age. He had been culprit with Sanjay Gandhi during Emergency, later a high profle UP Chief Minister and Union Cabinet.

Basic definition of thief is not that who takes away things without the owners knowledge. The definition completes only and only when 'caught'.

So is true for NDT. He escaped God's wrath all his life but Lord thought of putting restriction thru this episode.
