Just by saying that other political party also got involved in corruption does not absolve one's own party's charges. She should follow the ethics ""prevention is better than cure", in the matter of corrupt practices. How come an officer, named in a Scam and then Charge - sheeted, be selected as CVC?! Just sacking or transferring corrupt leaders is of no use. Its just a political gimmick. None of the corrupt public servants had really been punished since independence and it was high time to bring about changes in the justice delivery system. The damage that has been done to India's reputation by the pernicious evil of corruption can hardly be exaggerated. One wonders, how such big scams are left unnoticed while the parties have their own intelligence source to gather every information about politics and individuals.
